Casa Winter
A 1937 mansion in the remote Cofete valley, now a local history museum open mornings and afternoons.

La Casa Winter is a historic building located in Cofete, on the Jandía peninsula (Fuerteventura), erected by the German engineer Gustav Winter during the Second World War.
The site is also a documentary and field research project that has gathered data, images and plans about the history of the house and the figure of its creator, including his business and political connections and the enigmas that still surround the building. The findings are collected in the book "La Casa Winter", available through the project's online shop.
Its website also features a blog with articles about Gustav Winter and his era.
