The San Antonio Volcano, in the south of La Palma, has an astronomical viewpoint and a visitor centre about the island's volcanism. A roughly 20-minute trail runs along the crater rim, with views of the Teneguía volcano and the Fuencaliente coast. At night its clear, protected sky makes it one of the astrotourism spots of the Starlight Reserve.
