Playa de Matagorda is a sandy beach in the Puerto del Carmen area, in the municipality of Tías, in eastern Lanzarote. With calm, shallow waters, it runs alongside the promenade that links the resort.
Because of its closeness to the airport it is a known spot for plane-watching, and it has services and dining nearby.

Playa de Puntalarga is a small bay on the coastline of Fuencaliente de La Palma, about a hundred metres long and twenty metres wide, with a mix of sand and callao pebbles. Small rocky outcrops shelter it from the sea and the swell stays moderate. A natural rock pool lies right beside the beach, and the whole corner is ringed by fishermen's huts, with fishermen often at work there.
