Kayak Lanzarote
Kayak Lanzarote is an active tourism company in Playa Blanca, in the municipality of Yaiza, with a base by the beach behind the THE Mirador Papagayo hotel. Founded by Mónica and Ismael, it runs guided kayak trips, mainly in the south of the island, kayak and snorkel outings to the Papagayo beaches, stand-up paddle boarding, coasteering, courses and equipment rental, with activities adapted for children.

Kayak Lanzarote grew out of the bond its founders, Mónica and Ismael, have with the sea and the volcanic land of the island. Since 2015 they have had a base by the beach on Calle Las Palmas in Playa Blanca, behind the THE Mirador Papagayo hotel, with parking, a classroom for courses, showers, lockers, a shop and rental equipment. They have nine-seat vehicles and a trailer to take kayaks and boards wherever the day's weather is best, and the San Marcial stop on bus line 30 is about 400 metres away.
The kayak and snorkel trip to Papagayo starts from Las Coloradas beach, follows the cliffs of the Los Ajaches Natural Monument past a cave and several unspoilt beaches, and stops at Papagayo beach for a picnic, a swim and snorkelling, while the guide talks about volcanism, the conquest of the Canaries, pirate raids and the Biosphere Reserve. There is also sea kayaking for experienced paddlers, stand-up paddle routes and courses, and coasteering, which combines coastal walking, jumps into the water, swimming, caves and snorkelling in four areas depending on the sea.
