Playa de Los Pocillos
The longest beach in Puerto del Carmen, in the municipality of Tías on Lanzarote, with golden sand, shallow water and a calm atmosphere.

Playa de Los Pocillos is the longest stretch of sand in Puerto del Carmen, in the municipality of Tías on the southern coast of Lanzarote. It is a wide band of golden sand on the eastern side of the resort, more open and noticeably quieter than the other town beaches.
The water is shallow and deepens slowly, which suits families. There are sunbeds and parasols for hire, beach bars, showers and public toilets, with parking nearby and a public transport connection. The seafront promenade runs the full length of the beach and links it on foot with Matagorda and Playa Grande. It can get windy, and seaweed sometimes washes up along the shore.
