Playa de la Enramada
A wide dark-sand beach beside La Caleta in Adeje, Tenerife, prized for its sunsets.

Playa de la Enramada stretches through the municipality of Adeje in south-west Tenerife, close to the fishing village of La Caleta. It is a wide beach of dark, volcanic sand typical of the Tenerife coast, with plenty of room to lie back and enjoy the sun in one of the island's brightest areas.
Its orientation has made it a favourite spot to watch the sunset, when the light washes over the sea and the outline of La Gomera on the horizon. Well placed within the tourist setting of Costa Adeje, it combines a swim in the Atlantic with nearby promenades, restaurants and neighbouring coves that make it easy to linger.
