Playa del Duque
The most elegant beach in Costa Adeje: pale sand, calm waters and top-tier services with a Blue Flag, in front of the luxury hotels of southwest Tenerife.

Playa del Duque, Costa Adeje (Tenerife)
Playa del Duque is the most elegant face of Costa Adeje, in southwest Tenerife. Set in front of some of the island's most luxurious hotels, it is a beach of pale sand and calm waters, with a well-kept promenade and a complete range of services that have made it one of the flagship beaches for quality tourism in southern Tenerife.
Pale sand and calm bathing
Unlike the black volcanic-sand beaches of the island's north, El Duque has pale sand with wide golden stretches. About 390 metres long and close to 60 wide, its sheltered orientation and the breakwater that protects it keep the water calm for much of the year, making it comfortable and safe for family bathing.
Services and facilities
It is a fully equipped beach awarded the Blue Flag, a distinction that vouches for the quality of its water and services. It has lifeguards, showers and footbaths, toilets (including adapted ones), sunbed and parasol rental, bins and a cleaning service, as well as kiosks, shops, bars and restaurants in its commercial surroundings. It stands out for its accessibility: adapted access, reserved parking for people with reduced mobility and an assisted-bathing service with an amphibious chair.
