Aguas Verdes is a stretch of natural pools running for several kilometres along the west coast of Fuerteventura, in the municipality of Betancuria. They are clear-water pools at the foot of cliffs, in a rugged, almost undeveloped setting.
It is one of the island's most cherished bathing spots for its unspoilt character. Access is via dirt tracks, and it is essential to swim at low tide with a calm sea, since at high tide and with swell the place becomes dangerous.
