Carmen Morales has received an unexpected offer: to take part in a musical that will revisit the life and most famous songs of her mother, Rocío Dúrcal. She is not sure the project should go ahead: twenty years have passed since her death, there are subjects she does not want to relive and, above all, she considers her mother unique and unforgettable. So she has said no.
Faced with that refusal, the project's author and director begs her to come to the theatre and read the script with him, free to cut, change and add whatever she sees fit. Over 90 minutes they go through funny and touching moments from the lives of her mother, her father and herself, and from the history of Spain, until the final question: will Carmen agree to let the musical open? The show takes place at the Teatro Víctor Jara in Vecindario (Santa Lucía de Tirajana). Suitable for all ages. Latecomers are not admitted once the show has started. Tickets from 24 €. The performance is on Saturday 16 January 2027 at 20:00.
