Dulcinea is a stage play starring Paloma San Basilio. Being the perfect woman, a model of manners and charm, lady and mistress of the most famous knight-errant in history, is a weight Dulcinea no longer wants to carry. In a world where ethics have given way to aesthetics and morals to corruption, the play asks whether Dulcinea is needed today more than ever. At the Teatro Víctor Jara in Vecindario.
Paloma San Basilio stars in Dulcinea. Being the perfect woman, a model of manners and charm, lady and mistress of the most famous knight-errant in history, is a burden Dulcinea no longer wants to bear. In a world with less and less room for ideals, where ethics have given way to aesthetics and morals to corruption, there seems little point in defending impossible dreams.
Or is there? The play asks whether Dulcinea is needed today more than ever, and suggests that she herself, with humour, pain, irony and complete sincerity, may be the only one able to answer. The show takes place at the Teatro Víctor Jara in Vecindario (Santa Lucía de Tirajana). Recommended age: 12 and over. Running time: 80 minutes. Latecomers are not admitted once the show has started. Tickets: 20 €. The performance is on Friday 22 January 2027 at 20:30.
