Surf Training Fuerteventura in Corralejo builds its teaching on learning while having fun, with groups always split by level and no more than six people per instructor. The instructors hold FCS, BLS and lifeguard certifications. Each session lasts four hours and includes an instructor in the water, board, wetsuit, leash, wax, transport to the chosen spot and insurance.
The basic course is designed for beginners, even those with little confidence in the water, and aims to get each student to a first take-off at their own pace. The advanced course teaches how to read the sea and improve manoeuvres through video analysis, surfskate, functional training and pool sessions. Surfskate classes work on balance and stance on the board before heading into the water. The school also offers packages that combine surf lessons with accommodation in apartments, a surf house or a surf camp.
