Scuba Point Diving Tenerife
Scuba Point is the dive centre at Puerto Colón in Costa Adeje, and the parent brand through which the dives of Aqua Marina and Zero Gravity Tenerife are booked as well, since both work out of the same harbour. The programme covers try dives for first timers, guided fun dives for certified divers, snorkelling boat trips and PADI courses running from Open Water through Rescue to Divemaster. Groups stay small and trips are booked online.
Scuba Point runs its dive centre on Calle Puerto Colón in Costa Adeje, and its activities set out from that quay along the south coast of Tenerife. It works as the parent brand for several diving businesses sharing the same location: Aqua Marina has been running boat diving since 1999, and Zero Gravity Tenerife now looks after its guests through Scuba Point, with the same instructors at the same harbour. The team is led by Marcos, founder and instructor of the centre, alongside the instructors who guide the outings.
The programme reaches from try dives and Discover Scuba, for anyone who has never breathed underwater, to the PADI Open Water, Advanced, Rescue and Divemaster courses, with specialities such as deep diving, wreck diving and Nitrox. Certified divers join the daily fun dives and the snorkelling boat trips. The sites visited include Los Chuchos and Los Champiñones, the Ali Baba and Neptune caves and wrecks such as El Meridian and El Condesito, where turtles, rays, octopus and moray eels are regular company. Equipment, transport and briefings come from the centre, and the site chosen on any given day depends on conditions and on the experience of the group.
