Angel Shark Diving is a German-speaking dive base in Jandía, located in the Aldiana Club Fuerteventura on Calle Melindraga in Morro Jable. It is run by instructor Thilo, and the courses and dives follow the standards of the International Aquanautic Club (i.a.c.), whose theory can be done before your trip with digital modules in German. Groups are small, and practice starts in the pool before moving on to sheltered spots in the sea.
The try dive is designed for complete beginners from age 10, in groups of up to four, with a dive of about 40 minutes and equipment and transfer included. There are refresher courses, Open Water Diver, Advanced Open Water Diver and specialities such as nitrox, plus guided shore and boat dives, freediving and snorkelling. Among the sites the base recommends are the El Veril wall, where with luck you may see angel sharks, the caves of La Laja, Punta Elena, El Bajo, Las Salinas at Caleta de Fuste and the sheltered bay of El Puertito for beginners.
