The Museo del Pescador occupies the premises of the Cofradía de Pescadores Gran Poder de Dios, on calle Las Lonjas in Puerto de la Cruz, beside the fishing quay. Its Casa Museo brings together a large collection of ship models, ranging from traditional Canarian rowing boats and faluas, tuna vessels and purse seiners to schooners, sail training ships, steamers and the old island mail boats, alongside working objects such as an old scale.
A fortress of colonial character at the mouth of the ravine that shares its name, in Puerto de la Cruz, right beside Playa Jardín. Its story goes back to the 17th century, when it watched over the northern coast of Tenerife and sheltered the town from corsairs and pirates. Built of masonry in the shape of an irregular pentagon, it lost its military role in 1869 and now serves as the cultural venue of the municipality, with an exhibition hall and a cafe.

It is a very small cove, around twenty metres across, with black sand and picón, the local volcanic grit. Its most distinctive feature is the set of natural pools that form among the rocks at low tide. It was once a small landing place.
