The church of Nuestra Señora de la Peña de Francia is the main temple in the historic centre of Puerto de la Cruz. Built in the late 17th century, it has a sober facade crowned by a tower that has become a landmark of the town centre, alongside the fountain square in front of it.
Inside it preserves baroque altarpieces, carvings and elements of wood and marble that reflect centuries of the town's religious history. It is a regular stop for those exploring the old streets of the town, stepping away for a moment from the beach atmosphere.

The Museo del Pescador occupies the premises of the Cofradía de Pescadores Gran Poder de Dios, on calle Las Lonjas in Puerto de la Cruz, beside the fishing quay. Built of masonry in the shape of an irregular pentagon, it lost its military role in 1869 and now serves as the cultural venue of the municipality, with an exhibition hall and a cafe.
