Mirador de Chipeque
High mountain viewpoint on the Teide road, famous for the sea of clouds that often fills the valley below.

Mirador de Chipeque lies on the climb to the Teide, above 1,900 metres. It is one of the most photographed places on Tenerife thanks to its view of the sea of clouds that forms over the La Orotava valley.
When the blanket of cloud sits below, the Teide's peak rises clear in the background. It is a very popular spot at sunrise and sunset.
