The Casa Museo José Saramago, "A Casa", is located in Tías (Lanzarote) and is dedicated to the Portuguese writer José Saramago, Nobel Prize winner in Literature, who lived there.
The space preserves the writer's study, his library and the garden, and has a shop specialising in the author's work in several languages. Under the motto "Writing to understand", the house runs a programme of cultural activities and concerts and offers visits for school and secondary-education groups.
