The Casa del Vino de Tenerife occupies the Hacienda San Simón, a 17th-century manor house in La Baranda, El Sauzal, in the north of the island. It works as a cultural and wine-tourism centre devoted to Canary wine culture and local produce.
It brings together the Wine Museum, the Tenerife Honey Visitor Centre, an Agrodiversity Interpretation Centre and the San Simón chapel. There is a shop with more than 300 recognised Tenerife wines, a restaurant, tastings, audio-guided visits and a programme of courses, workshops and tasting sessions.
The grounds include vineyard and native-plant gardens with views of the Teide, and it is managed by the Fundación Canaria Tenerife Rural.
