Sendero Bayuyo (volcanes de Lajares)
Circular route among the volcanic cones of the Bayuyo alignment in the island's north, with views of Lobos and Lanzarote.

The Bayuyo trail runs along the northern Fuerteventura volcano alignment, near Lajares, among badlands and cones in dark and reddish tones. The landscape is open and arid, very typical of this part of the island.
The circular, moderately demanding route passes several craters of the volcanic row and offers broad panoramas: to the north, the island of Lobos and the outline of Lanzarote; to the south, the Majorero plateau. There is barely any shade along the whole route, so water, a hat and sun protection are essential.
