Long crossing trail through inland La Oliva linking Tindaya, Vallebrón and Tefía across arid ridges and rural hamlets.
This long-distance crossing traverses inland La Oliva, linking the village of Tindaya, the Vallebrón valley and the hamlet of Tefía. The route follows arid ridges and majorero plains cloaked in dry-substrate vegetation, offering a calm reading of the traditional farming and grazing landscape of northern Fuerteventura, far from the tourist coast. It passes near the Montaña de Tindaya, sacred mountain of the ancient majos, and rewards walkers with wide panoramas of the island's interior. A demanding route on account of its length, it suits experienced hikers seeking the most authentic, empty Fuerteventura.
