Paseo Marítimo Bristol
The Paseo Marítimo Bristol is a seafront promenade in Corralejo, the town in the municipality of La Oliva in the north of Fuerteventura. The street is about 740 metres long and belongs to the Bristol area of town. La Oliva Town Council set about removing structures and obstacles that got in the way of people walking along it, aiming to recover and widen the public space for pedestrians and cyclists.
The Paseo Marítimo Bristol is a seafront promenade of about 740 metres in Corralejo, in the municipality of La Oliva, in the north of Fuerteventura. It runs through the Bristol area of the town. La Oliva Town Council's public works department began demolishing structures on the promenade which, in its own words, added nothing and made it harder for pedestrians and cyclists to get through, with the aim of recovering and widening the public space set aside for leisure.
The promenade also has a vehicle exit, used by the traffic coming off the ferries from Lanzarote, which makes it one of the busiest spots in the municipality. In 2026 the council completed the rehabilitation of that section, with a new road surface, a new platform, full repaving and new signage along its whole length.
