The Escape Room Lanzarote
An escape room on the fourth floor of the Biosfera shopping centre in Puerto del Carmen, Lanzarote's main resort, with two rooms: Submarine Adventure, aboard a stolen nuclear submarine, and Jungle LAB, set in an abandoned laboratory in the Costa Rican jungle. Games last 60 minutes, take 2 to 6 players and are played in Spanish or English.
In Submarine Adventure, a former Soviet Victor I class submarine, now in the hands of an oligarch, is sailing on autopilot towards New York with missiles on board, and the team has to bring it to the surface to disarm them. Jungle LAB takes you to an abandoned laboratory in the Monteverde cloud forest in Costa Rica, where a vanished professor was mixing human and T. rex DNA. The rooms are not scary, they are air conditioned and the difficulty can be adjusted.
The games are suitable from age 10, and under 16s must come with an adult. With the briefing, the game and the photos, a visit takes 75 to 90 minutes. The venue also offers its rooms for corporate team building, and the shopping centre has free underground parking.
