Playa Grande
The longest urban beach in Puerto del Carmen, with a seafront promenade, Blue Flag and calm water.

Playa Grande is the main beach of Puerto del Carmen and the longest in the resort, with over a kilometre of golden sand and calm water. It has a Blue Flag, lifeguards, sunbeds, umbrellas, showers and toilets, and the whole seafront promenade behind it, full of restaurants, bars and shops.
It is an urban, comfortable and well-connected beach, with parking nearby. Perfect for combining a quiet swim with a stroll, a terrace and resort atmosphere at any time of day.
Did you know? Before tourism took off, Puerto del Carmen was a modest fishing village known for centuries as La Tiñosa.
