Playa de Guayedra
Wild sand-and-pebble cove in a protected landscape near Agaete, with no facilities.

Guayedra is an unspoilt cove within the Tamadaba Natural Park, between Agaete and El Risco. You reach it by leaving the car near the road and walking down a dirt track for about twenty minutes. It mixes dark sand and pebbles, usually calm water and a very photogenic ravine setting. There are no beach bars or lifeguards, so bring water and sturdy shoes.
