Puerto de las Nieves
Pebble beach beside Agaete's fishing port, with a ferry link to Tenerife.

Puerto de las Nieves is the seaside village of Agaete, with its pebbly Playa de las Nieves and clean water next to the fishing port. The Fred. Olsen fast ferry to Santa Cruz de Tenerife departs from here, making it a busy point of arrival and departure. The promenade gathers fresh-fish restaurants and white houses, and the views towards the Roque Partido complete the picture. The beach is pebbly, so water shoes make it more comfortable.
Did you know? Off the harbour once rose the Dedo de Dios ("God’s Finger"), a basalt sea stack that was for decades the emblem of Agaete, until on the evening of 28 November 2005 the winds of Tropical Storm Delta toppled its upper section; what remains today is its base, the Roque Partido.
