Charco Los Chochos is a natural pool carved by the sea on the north-western coast of Tenerife, within the rugged surroundings of the Teno massif. Its clean water and relative seclusion make it prized by those seeking a quiet bathe.
Access involves walking over rocky ground and it is wise to check sea conditions, as there are no facilities. In return it offers an unspoilt, uncrowded natural corner.

Playa de Puntalarga is a small bay on the coastline of Fuencaliente de La Palma, about a hundred metres long and twenty metres wide, with a mix of sand and callao pebbles. Small rocky outcrops shelter it from the sea and the swell stays moderate. A natural rock pool lies right beside the beach, and the whole corner is ringed by fishermen's huts, with fishermen often at work there.
