Vivienda Vacacional en Gran Canaria El Refugio de la Caridad
Vivienda Vacacional en Gran Canaria El Refugio de la Caridad stands in the town centre of Valsequillo de Gran Canaria, a mid altitude municipality in the interior of the island. Nine waymarked walking routes start from the town, and the Barranco de los Cernícalos, the Caldera de Los Marteles and the head of the Caldera de Tenteniguada with its rock towers lie nearby. The municipality has artisan cheese dairies, honey and wine making.

The house is in the town centre of Valsequillo de Gran Canaria, in the mid altitude belt of the island interior. The old centre is walked along its most central streets, where the shops are concentrated, and it is presided over by the church of San Miguel, built between 1903 and 1923. The Cuartel de El Colmenar of 1530, a listed heritage building, stands close by.
Valsequillo is the starting point of nine waymarked routes. One of them follows the Barranco de los Cernícalos, one of the four ravines on Gran Canaria where water runs all year, with one of the best wild olive groves on the island and Canary willows. Others climb to the Caldera de Los Marteles, an elliptical crater 500 metres across and 80 metres deep. The district has artisan cheese dairies, honey products and wine making.
