Hotel Rural Fonda de la Tea
A 19th-century rural hotel in the old town of Tejeda, within the Roque Nublo Rural Park and Biosphere Reserve, named Spain's best rural hotel 2025.
Hotel Rural Fonda de la Tea is located in the town of Tejeda (Gran Canaria), within the Parque Rural del Nublo and the Biosphere Reserve, at around 1,050 metres of altitude and with views of the Roque Nublo. It occupies a 19th-century building refurbished in 2007, with rooms spread over four floors.
It has the «Cueva de La Tea» restaurant serving Canarian cuisine, as well as a spa, terrace and meeting room. Its services include hiking guides, bicycle rental and climbing activities. In 2025 it was named Best Rural Hotel in Spain by ASETUR.
