Finca La Jaraca
An estate in the mid-altitude belt of Tacoronte, on the northern flank of Tenerife, on Calle Hoya de Manzaneros. Its owners present it as an ideal place to hold any kind of event or activity in the open air, in a farmland setting. The municipality belongs to the Tacoronte-Acentejo denomination of origin, and the vine is the dominant crop across that middle band running from the hills down to the sea.
Tacoronte occupies the northern flank of Tenerife, between El Sauzal, El Rosario and La Laguna, and its land drops from a high point of 1,200 metres to a coast of imposing cliffs, cut into sections by several ravines. Farming rules the mid-altitude belt, and above all the vine: the wines that come from here carry the Tacoronte-Acentejo denomination of origin and count among the marks of identity of this part of the island. Finca La Jaraca sits within that landscape, on Calle Hoya de Manzaneros.
Its owners present the estate as an ideal place to hold any kind of event or activity, which suits anyone looking for open farmland rather than an indoor hall. The surroundings do their share: the Agua García woodland, a protected landscape holding patches of laurel forest, lies nearby, as does the coast at Mesa del Mar with its black sand beach and the fishing village of El Pris. Guachinches still operate across the municipality, serving home cooking and wine from the local vineyards.
