FEX Festival 2026 – Xerach + La Jelenverified
For the Festival En Conexión (FEX), drummer and composer Xerach teams up with flamenco dancer La Jelen on a show conceived for the Sala Insular de Teatro in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. Music and dance enter into dialogue around her new album, ¿Tú me quieres? Yo te adoro: Xerach plays drums and keyboard at the same time, while La Jelen turns the tensions running through the project into movement.
Xerach brings to the stage the world of her second album, ¿Tú me quieres? Yo te adoro, a reflection on the lack of emotional bonds in a hyperconnected society. It follows Canciones Bobas, the project that established her as a singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist in pop. As she plays drums and keyboard at once, La Jelen, a flamenco dancer and teacher trained in Madrid, explores aggression, isolation and the emotional emptiness of contemporary life through the body, in a crossover of concert, performance and stage work.
FEX (Festival En Conexión) runs from 9 to 22 November at the Sala Insular de Teatro in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, with residencies by Xerach and by the band Good Franco, who play on Saturday 14 November. The show lasts about an hour and a half, and tickets cost 10 euros, sold online. Xerach and La Jelen perform at 19:30 on Saturday 21 November 2026.
