With De la Aurora al Día, Antiqva offers a musical journey through the feelings, landscapes and emotions in the work of Mateo Romero. Some music seems to hold a landscape; other music seems to keep a moment of the day, a light, a memory or a sigh.
The music of Mateo Romero (1575-1647) belongs to both kinds: in his tonos humanos, words and music come together to build a world full of images, feelings and deeply human emotions. The concert takes place in the Sala Principal of the Teatro Pérez Galdós, on Plaza Stagno in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, on Sunday 22 November 2026 at 19:00.
