Scubanana Dive Center
Scubanana Dive Center is a dive centre in the marina of Radazul, in the municipality of El Rosario on Tenerife, a few minutes south of Santa Cruz. It is a PADI centre and covers the whole progression, from a first try dive for children of ten and over through to professional training. The bay is sheltered, so many of the dives are entered straight from the shore, in small groups sorted by level.
The centre teaches the full sequence of PADI qualifications, from Open Water Diver up to Divemaster and instructor, and adds specialities such as deep diving, wreck diving, nitrox, drysuit, scooter, sidemount, technical diving and freediving. It also works with divers who have been out of the water for a while and want to rebuild their skills before going back in.
Guided dives leave from Radazul and from other points in the north and south of the island, with a boat where the site calls for one. The marine life the centre names includes trumpet fish, barracuda, rays, turtles and nudibranchs. Scubanana Dive Center rents complete equipment, has a classroom, changing rooms and a gear store, and works in Spanish, English and German.
