Deep Ocean Diver - PADI Dive Center
Deep Ocean Diver is a family run dive centre based in Radazul, Tenerife, working as a five star PADI dive centre, a dive school and a divers club, as well as an official Cressi shop and an air refill station. It is led by David, its founder, a PADI Staff Instructor, professional boat skipper and marine biologist, with a team of marine biologists and the centre's own Zodiac boat.
The centre's history with diving began in 1992, and today Deep Ocean Diver works as a five star PADI dive centre, a dive school and a divers club, as well as an official Cressi shop and an air refill station. At the head of it is David, its founder, a PADI Staff Instructor, professional boat skipper and marine biologist, with a team of marine biologists carrying more than ten years of experience. The programme covers try dives, the PADI Scuba Diver, Open Water Diver, Advanced Open Water Diver, Rescue Diver, first aid and Divemaster courses, and specialities such as wrecks, night diving, sidemount, underwater photography and video, enriched air, deep diving, buoyancy and dry suit.
Part of the offer is built around marine biology, with the PADI scientific diving, underwater naturalist and fish identification courses. Alongside these sit the ReActívate programme for divers who have been out of the water for a while, the DOD divers club, a medical consultation with a team specialised in hyperbaric medicine, and equipment rental and air fills. Guided dives reach more than twenty five dive sites spread across the island, using the centre's own Zodiac boat, with parking for clients and pick up. The centre describes Radazul as an area of calm water without currents, with visibility of up to thirty metres, regular sightings of rays, moray eels, shoals of grunts and turtles, and a wreck right in front of the centre itself.
