Parapente Tenerife
Parapente Tenerife is the name under which Enminube Parapente, based in La Laguna, runs tandem paragliding flights over Tenerife's volcanic landscape and the Atlantic. It is authorised by the Canary Islands Government's tourism department, and its pilots are qualified professionals with more than 30 years of experience. Flights take off from areas such as El Teide, the Orotava Valley, Puerto de la Cruz and the Güímar Valley, with flight video and transport included.
Parapente Tenerife is the activity run by Enminube Parapente, a tandem paragliding company with an office on Calle Bencomo in La Laguna. Flights are made with a professional pilot and take off from several areas of the island: Teide National Park, Puerto de la Cruz, launching at 2,200 metres and landing on the beach, the Orotava Valley, from La Corona down to El Socorro beach in Los Realejos, the Güímar Valley, Arafo and Isla Baja. The flight itself lasts 20 to 30 minutes.
Passengers are picked up at meeting points in La Laguna, Puerto de la Cruz, Güímar or Adeje and driven in the company's own vehicle to the take-off site; weather conditions are confirmed the day before. Each flight includes HD video, insurance, and a windbreaker and gloves. Passengers must weigh between 35 and 100 kilos, and there is an adapted paragliding programme. Flights can be booked online, and gift cards are available.
