GooDiving is a dive centre in Golf del Sur, in the south of Tenerife, rated SSI 5 Star and staffed by a team of instructors and marine biologists. Its Discover Scuba Diving programme is designed for people who have never breathed underwater and starts with a calm, detailed briefing on the equipment and the basic principles of diving. Certified divers can book dive packages, the centre teaches SSI courses at every level, and it runs snorkelling trips led by a marine biologist and snorkelling instructor.
According to the centre, the area has more than a hundred dive sites reached by boat and from the shore, with volcanic walls and caves full of life, rays and shoals of fish, an average visibility of around 30 metres and water between 19 degrees in winter and 25 in summer, so wetsuit diving is possible all year. Dives are done in small groups with no dive time limit and follow international diving standards, and the team takes part in marine research and conservation projects.
