One hour on a jet ski along the south coast of Tenerife from Marina San Miguel, following a guide on his own jet ski past Montaña Amarilla, Montaña Roja, the bay of Costa del Silencio and Las Galletas. No experience is needed; drivers must be 16 and passengers 5.
The trip starts at the Marina San Miguel marina in the south of Tenerife, where the jet skis are waiting. Before you get on there is a short explanation of how to ride them, and no previous experience is needed. The guide rides his own jet ski and leads a one hour route around Costa San Miguel, Montaña Amarilla, Montaña Roja, the bay of Costa del Silencio and Las Galletas; the exact route may change with the weather. With luck you may see whales, dolphins or turtles along the way.
Photos and videos are taken during the trip. When you hand back the jet skis there is a drink of your choice, such as coffee, tea or a soft drink, and there are showers and changing rooms. One hour of jet ski hire, a Spanish-speaking guide, a life jacket, a wetsuit and a locker are included. A deposit is left for each jet ski.
The minimum age is 16 to drive the jet ski and 5 to ride as a passenger. The activity is not wheelchair accessible and pets are not allowed.
