Islas24

This day trip takes you from the south of Tenerife to La Gomera. Pickup is between 7:15 and 8:30 at hotels and meeting points in Los Cristianos, La Caleta and Playa de las Américas and, depending on availability, also in Los Gigantes, El Médano, Playa San Juan, San Miguel de Abona, Playa Paraíso, Golf del Sur, Los Abrigos, Costa del Silencio and Ten Bel; you choose the area when booking. The coach drives to the port of Los Cristianos, where you board the ferry, and the crossing to San Sebastián de La Gomera takes roughly 35 to 50 minutes.

On La Gomera the tour continues by coach: the Roque de Agando, one of the best known natural monuments on the island; a short walk of about 15 minutes through the laurel forests of Garajonay National Park; the Laguna Grande, a place of legends that, despite its name, holds no water; and the villages of Hermigua and Agulo, with a traditional lunch in Agulo. Depending on the option, there is also a stop at the Mirador de Vallehermoso. The day ends in San Sebastián de La Gomera, the island capital, where Christopher Columbus stopped on his first voyage to America; you see the Torre del Conde from outside, without going in. The order of the visits may change for organisational reasons.

Hotel pickup and return, minibus or coach transport, the return ferry ticket, the guide and lunch are included. The trip is listed as 9 hours, and you are expected back at your hotel between nine and twelve hours after pickup. Children aged 2 to 12 get the same services as adults; children under 2 have no meal included and sit on their parents' lap during transfers. A menu for coeliacs and people with food intolerances is available if requested when booking. A valid passport is needed for the ferry, or a national identity card for citizens of the European Union. The trip is only accessible with a folding wheelchair and a companion, and this must be stated when booking; there are accessible toilets. Pets are not allowed.
