A ninety minute boat trip from the fishermen's pier in the port of Los Cristianos to see dolphins and, with luck, whales off the south coast of Tenerife, with a guide who talks about the species and a stop of about 15 minutes for a swim near the cueva del Amor sea cave. The guide speaks Spanish, English, French and Italian.
The trip leaves from the fishermen's pier in the port of Los Cristianos and follows the south coast of Tenerife in search of the cetaceans that frequent these Atlantic waters. With luck you see dozens of dolphins and even whales, always close but at a respectful distance so that they do not feel crowded in their own habitat. These are wild animals, so nobody can promise what each trip will bring.
On the way, the guide shares facts about the animals that appear and shows you how to recognise the local seabirds. Before heading back, the boat visits the cueva del Amor, a huge sea cave, and anchors nearby for about 15 minutes so you can swim in open water. The trip ends at the same pier after ninety minutes at sea.
The boat trip and the guide, who speaks Spanish, English, French and Italian, are included. You choose the departure time when booking. It is not wheelchair accessible and pets are not allowed.
