BRISUB - Buceo y Snorkel/ Tenerife Sur/ Las Galletas
BRISUB is a dive centre in Las Galletas, in the south of Tenerife, with instructors who have more than 20 years of experience behind them. Its programme runs from recreational courses, from entry level up to Dive Master, through to technical training, and takes in try dives, guided outings and snorkelling. Dives cover wrecks, caves and volcanic seabeds where turtles, rays, groupers, corals and nudibranchs turn up.
The BRISUB dive centre started in Las Galletas, in the south of Tenerife, with the idea of offering a complete service, with instructors carrying more than 20 years of experience and with respect for the environment and the marine life around it. Recreational training covers the Open Water Diver, Advance Open Water, Rescue Diver, Dive Master and Nitrox courses, alongside specialities such as EFR first aid, deep diving, night diving, wrecks, gas blending and emergency oxygen provision. For divers who want to go further, the centre also teaches technical diving: Intro To Tech, Advanced Nitrox and Deco Procedures.
Beyond the courses, BRISUB runs guided dive outings to the various dive sites of the area, try dives for anyone going underwater for the first time, and snorkelling trips with mask and snorkel. The seabeds it visits regularly take in wrecks and caves, turtles, rays and groupers, along with corals, nudibranchs and small marine life. The centre itself puts that variety down to the latitude and the ocean currents of the islands, to volcanic underwater landscapes and to a water temperature of between 19 and 24 degrees all year round.
