Acuarios-Jandia
Acuarios-Jandia is a dive centre in Costa Calma, in the south of Fuerteventura, that has been guiding divers since 1988. An official SSI centre that also teaches PADI courses, it offers try dives, courses for every level, guided dives along the island's southern coast, snorkelling trips and an introduction to freediving, in small groups and with multilingual instructors with over twenty years of experience.
Acuarios-Jandia, which also goes by Acuarios Dive Center, has been guiding dives in Costa Calma, in the south of Fuerteventura, since 1988. It is led by the instructors Olivia Buschmann and Bernd Lehmann, who are still diving, together with Christian and Gundel. It is an official SSI centre and also teaches PADI courses, so you can start with a try dive and work up to higher levels, with a team of multilingual instructors who each have more than twenty years of experience.
The guided dives take in sites along the island's southern coast with reefs, volcanic formations and marine life such as rays, colourful fish and the angel shark. Those who prefer to stay on the surface can join snorkelling trips, suitable for families and beginners too, and those who want to go further can try freediving through taster sessions, PADI Freediver courses and breathing and relaxation training, in areas such as Costa Calma, Morro Jable, Tarajalejo and Las Playitas. The centre works with small groups and personal attention.
