Restaurante Oasis San Telmo Gluten Free
A Canarian and Spanish restaurant in the San Telmo shopping centre in Los Cristianos, with the entire menu gluten free and certification guaranteeing there is no contamination. It is one of the best rated addresses in the south for eating gluten free, with almost a thousand reviews and a consistently high score. Bookings are taken by phone only.
The name is slightly misleading: San Telmo here is not the district in Puerto de la Cruz but the shopping centre in Los Cristianos where the place is. The food is ordinary Canarian and Spanish cooking, with the difference that the whole menu is gluten free and certified, so there is no picking through dishes or asking about the kitchen.
That is the reason for its rating: for a coeliac the experience is like that of any other diner, which is exactly what almost never happens. Note that bookings are handled by telephone only, not through social media.
