Casa Museo Miguel de Unamuno

The Casa Museo Miguel de Unamuno occupies the house that took in the writer when he reached Fuerteventura in 1924, banished by the Rivera dictatorship. It stands in the centre of the old Puerto Cabras, today Puerto del Rosario, and keeps the feel of a bourgeois home of the last century, with fine wood, heavy drapes and period devices such as a typewriter and a phonograph.

Sendero de La Muda

A hiking area in the north of the municipality of Puerto del Rosario, around Montaña de la Muda. The official Canary Islands tourism portal places this mountain at the southernmost vertex of the Vallebrón ridge and marks it as a site of historical interest, because it holds an archaeological deposit with an unusual burial system. The Vallebrón Protected Landscape is shared between Puerto del Rosario and La Oliva and covers almost 1,680 hectares.
