The point lies on the GC-200 road, in the municipality of Mogán, at the outcrop known as Los Azulejos de Veneguera. These are not bathing pools but rock faces stained green, blue, ochre, yellow and reddish by hydrothermal alteration on the south-western rim of the Tejeda palaeocaldera. The Spanish geological survey catalogues the site as a place of geological interest, with outcrops between kilometres 41 and 50.
