Los Charcones de Banaderos
Blue Flag volcanic natural pools on the Arucas coast, with warm water and abundant marine life.

Los Charcones lie on the coast of the municipality of Arucas, very close to the village of Banaderos in the north of Gran Canaria. They are natural pools shaped by lava: a shallower one ideal for children, and a deeper one perfect for swimming or snorkelling.
This Blue Flag bathing area has showers, foot-wash points, lifeguards, a sunbathing area, parking and nearby restaurants. The water tends to be warm and is full of fish, which makes it very appealing for family snorkelling. Care is advised, as the rocky edges can be slippery.
