La Fortaleza de Ansite
Aboriginal site and natural fortress where the last Canarian resistance took place.

A cluster of rock formations in the Tirajana ravine that the ancient Canarians used as refuge and sacred ground, with dwelling and burial caves. Declared a Site of Cultural Interest, it is one of Gran Canaria's most symbolic pre-Hispanic sites and offers sweeping views over the Las Tirajanas caldera.
