Casa de los Sall
A heritage house on Calle Portería, in the historic San Francisco quarter of Telde, which opened its doors on 30 September 2026 as a cultural venue run by the town council's Department of Culture. It is intended to host exhibitions by local and Canarian artists, book presentations and reading clubs, lectures, sessions on Telde's heritage and history, workshops and meetings of cultural associations.

The Casa de los Sall stands at number 15 Calle Portería, in the historic San Francisco quarter of Telde. The building underwent several rounds of restoration and, under agreements with the Cabildo de Gran Canaria, its use was handed over to the Telde town council in the 1990s; even so, it remained closed for years and never truly opened to the public. Once the electricity supply, improvements and the fitting-out of its rooms had been dealt with, it opened on 30 September 2026, at the start of the San Francisco festivities, with a photographic exhibition by Jesús Ruiz Mesa devoted to the quarter and the festival proclamation in its inner courtyard.
Run by the Telde town council's Department of Culture, the house is made available to residents and to the town's groups, associations and cultural organisations. Its programme is planned to include exhibitions by local and Canarian artists, book presentations and reading clubs, meetings with writers, lectures, sessions on Telde's heritage and history, workshops, outreach activities and projects linked to the arts and creative work, with the aim of making it a meeting point for the town's cultural and community life.
