Reserva Natural Especial de Los Tilos de Moya
Special nature reserve in Moya, in the north of Gran Canaria, protecting the last continuous laurel forest on the island, a remnant of the old Selva de Doramas.

The Reserva Natural Especial de Los Tilos de Moya, in northern Gran Canaria, protects the last continuous stand of laurel forest on the island, a living fragment of the vast Selva de Doramas that once covered these mid altitude slopes. The woodland grows around the Barranco de Los Tilos, in a damp and often misty microclimate that keeps it at its greenest through winter and spring.
Access is from the village of Moya along the GC-704 road, heading towards the Barranco de Los Tilos. Signposted footpaths and interpretive panels run along the edge of the reserve, and the terrain is well suited to spotting plant species endemic to the Canary Islands.
