Playa de Maspalomas stretches along the southern edge of the Maspalomas Dunes, forming one of Gran Canaria's most recognisable scenes. Its golden sand and open sea draw families, swimmers and walkers throughout the year. Set beside the historic lighthouse and the protected dune field, it is a landmark of the island's tourism.
