Piscinas naturales Alcalá

sellBeachesstorefrontIslas24partly_cloudy_day22°C

Natural pools beside the village of Alcalá on the coast of Guía de Isora, also known as the La Jaquita pools. The municipal tourism site describes them as one of the most emblematic spots on this stretch of shoreline, carved out by lava and time, with sheltered water in direct contact with the ocean and La Gomera outlined on the horizon on clear days.

Islas24

The La Jaquita pools open out at the end of the village of Alcalá, in the municipality of Guía de Isora. The municipal tourism site presents them as one of the most emblematic places on this coast: swimming here means swimming in the sea, but in water held calm by volcanic rock, with the open ocean just beyond the rim.

The council itself stresses how easy the approach is: a flat, well kept seafront promenade with walkways and ramps designed with reduced mobility in mind, a few minutes from the village square. Showers and toilets stand nearby, with bars and restaurants along the promenade, which makes the pools a comfortable plan for families.
