Piscina Natural Los Cocoteros
Natural seawater lagoon sheltered by volcanic rock at Los Cocoteros, beside the La Caleta salt flats, ideal for a calm swim with children.

Piscina Natural Los Cocoteros lies in a quiet coastal hamlet of the Teguise municipality, in eastern Lanzarote. A series of seawater pools, sheltered by volcanic rock barriers, allow a safe swim even when the swell pounds the rest of the coast.
Beside the pool stretch the La Caleta salt flats and an old windmill crowning the landscape, adding interest to the walk. The bottom can be uneven and it is best to come at low tide to explore, arriving early or at sunset to enjoy the place with hardly anyone around.
